Paris - I Miss You

I was going to post a few cool pics from Berlin, but I couldn't resist these...Repetto, roses from the market, perfumed meringues and roses carved from stone. Check out Urban Nectar today and tomorrow for delicious bright and beautiful food market and patissiere window shopping pics. Are you sick of these yet? I still have Laduree and flea markets, Le Meurice and Monet's garden to share!

Bread & Roses

Everywhere in Paris is beautiful bread and beautiful roses...both spilling into the street. The former under the arm of svelte 'Parisiennes', the latter overflowing from divine florists on to the footpath. Bread & roses, the scent and sight of a city together invading every sense.

I'm Back

Bonjour! I've read all your gorgeous comments and I'm back with new found discoveries from Paris, London and Berlin. I have so much to share, so let's start from the very beginning.
Day one in Paris saw us headed straight to Merci - I can not emphasis enough how much of an absolute must do this store is, I think it's one of the most incredible spaces I ever experienced. Serial Chineur was an exhibition showing the work of object entomologist Jean Sonnet Croise photographed by Pierrick Verny. There were 49 images created for this exhibition, huge ones displayed hanging from the rafters, an entire portfolio avec white glove to leaf through them all and 12.50 euro prints, of which I bought 'Cordes' (the one with red string, which kind of look like rolls of meat - obviously not enough to put me off buying it) and the bottles & spoons one for my sis.

We Like It Wild

I'm not sure whether I love the tattoo or the roses in the first pic, but I do know that I am besotted with the middle image of teaspoons of petals.

The Birth of a Poppy

It amazed me in my hot little apartment how quickly these poppies, well, popped! It's like they have an instictual drive to open as far as they can until their petals sit flat. These images were taken within about half an hour of one another.
