Sage's Place

This is my sis' house & newborn baby with whom I'm obsessed - always asking Mr "can we go to Sage's house?", "Can we visit Sagey?". She changes her place around all the time and every time I visit I'm envious of her beautiful little purchases. For more of her house - see here.

Luxe

How was your weekend? I made a 6m jumbo version of this "Luxe" garland for my sis. It's made with Chrisina Re beautiful metallic papers. I'm not putting her in my shop beacuse I want to keep her but you can email me for a custom one and I would delighted to make another one for you. I have however added all my new garlands to etsy, check out my gold lovelies - Peaches, Paris & Grace.

A Little Place Called Melbourne

Wow - this week flew...last weekend we went to Melbourne and I didn't even have time to tell you. I forgot my camera so these are my poor iphone efforts. We went to The Heide to lunch at Cafe Vue (loved the plates and the pear tart), bought a divine pear & chocolate mound from B&P and ate it in the bath, dined at St Jude's Cellar, slept at The Hatton. Woke, coffee drank at Bada Brother Budan, shopped along Little Collins and had a long menu-less lunch and a sneaky G&T and glass of sauv blanc at the incredible Press Club (the got back to the car and collected a parking ticket). Yum!

Let There Be Light

The weather is soooo miserable here lately. It's dark all day long. It's only the happy little neon dots above my bed that help me find the light!

For The Love of Jamie

My latest cooking obsession is Jamie's 30 minute meals. They take (me) more than 30 minutes but the flavours are amazing. Mr gave this salmon tray bake with salsa verde 10 out of 10. The '0' was a gift for baby Sage for when she got back home to mama BB's house. Speaking of which, I will soon be able to share pics of her soon to be installed new kitchen.

Atelier

Poor Mr, the study was for him to concentrate on his Masters but now he's on summer break, the sewing machine (aka Stitchy) I have completely taken over. Anywho -have you seen the vibrant corals range in store now! Check out Dana, Summer & Kristie.

It's a Girl

My sis had a new baby girl and I baked 'cute as a button' cupcakes and a lemon and orange olive oil cake to have for tea when she arrived home her '0' birthday and gave her one of my Pixie garlands.

Pic 2 is the sample sheets for the orange garland range which will soon be added to my etsy shop and the Pic 4 is the (Mr named) lovely Summer.

Bespoke

The Home Front

I'm excited about our little getaway to Melbourne this weekend. I'm most looking forwardto a nice hot bath in our lovely hotel room. It will be chilly but lots of good food and a change of scenery will be lovely.

Pic 1 - Although the scenery from our house is pretty, well serene. Check out our beach. All ours. It will be a different story in summer no doubt.

Pic 2 - This is our new Persian rug we randomly bought when driving through Rozelle to pick up some recycled timber Mr has been working with to fashion into a bench seat for our dining table. Quite a commitment was buying that together. We tried to justify the expense all the way home.

Pic 3 - Mr named this photo 'reflections,' which I took a Sunday afternoon walk, bless his little heart, he has been naming my garlands when I dance around the house to show him the most recetly completed one.

Pic 4 - Another little project - glitter covered letters. Very messy indeed.
