Rich, Dark & Heavy

These are new colours for me. Heavy, rich colours, ever since I was served tea, milk & flowers in these at Ethos, Hobart - I have been giving my collected Inner HealthPlus bottles a new life. Pics here from Kari Herer's shop.

Muffin

This little muffin stayed with us all weekend (along with her puppy Ruby). She chose her own colours from my mountains of dots and couldn't wait to get it up on the wall.

Art Attempt

Well these are my dots, after much bad maths, I finally got the spacing right. These are bright & happy and probably and would look amazing in a lounge room, dining room or kids room - at the moment I have them in my study. The other colours I did were 'army' greens, greys & metallics and a bit more 'grown up', almost masculine (except I snuck in some pale pink).

Pink Heat

Meet Brazil and these gorgeous roses. Yum! I found some awesome fluoro cotton at Spotlight in 3 colours and this one is threaded with the hottest of pinks.

Phase 2

It's interesting how certain colours grab you at different times and how some combinations feel so apparent. These are some of the garlands in the shop at the moment and I have recently become enamoured with some new colour combos which I'll be sure to share with you once they make it into the shop. I call these ones part of my 'phase 2 collection'.

From the Studio of Dallas & Carlos

I sent my lovely friend Kath a garland in colours she chose from the wide selection of dots on my desk and here it is in her studio. It looks amazing and I love her inspiration board. Look at the gorgeous rings and gold and silver plated letters ready for a necklace at the bottom of the pic - aren't they fabulous! They are the part of the latest Dallas & Carlos range - eshop here. Well, with the freezing windy wet weather on the weekend, Stitchy and I spent some time together and came up with this Spectrum garland. What do you think?

New In The Zoo

Thank goodness today was a little less stressful than the last few weeks - I even managed a gym class. Stitchy and I have become quite close and I have updated the shop with the likes of 'In The Navy' (shown here), 'Lemon' & 'Kermit' and some gorgeous fresh colour combos - have a look and let me know what you think. xx

Meet Margaret

This lovely pale garland is Margaret & she's only $3, perfect for as baby boy or girl's nursery. All my garlands are one-offs (and I happily custom make any colour/length you'd like). I can't wait to show you my new colours.

Luxe

How was your weekend? I made a 6m jumbo version of this "Luxe" garland for my sis. It's made with Chrisina Re beautiful metallic papers. I'm not putting her in my shop beacuse I want to keep her but you can email me for a custom one and I would delighted to make another one for you. I have however added all my new garlands to etsy, check out my gold lovelies - Peaches, Paris & Grace.
