Soothing
Wishing you all a soothing weekend...
I was looking forward to making this custom garland because the colours sounded like they would be lovely together - and they are - pale green, pale peach, cream and kraft for a little one's baptism.

Sugar Cookies
Sugar cookies and a pink heart for my besties little one's 4th birthday party. Yum! Recipe from Hummingbird Bakery cookbook. Who knew sugar cookies and royal icing could be so crispy delicious?

Craft Machine
What a freezing, windy and wet weekend. Mr and I huddled up at home with our newly working fireplace (pic 5). We drank coffee, cooked toast, scratched together lunch and I spent most of Saturday afternoon making a chocolate tart while Mr was trying to finish off a uni assignment. On Sunday I spent the day drinking more coffee, eating left over chocolate tart and crafting together some custom orders (garlands galore, orange & gold heart art and finished off a hand painted wedding banner). Mr is still battling with that assignment.

New Lingo
Lots of new things. Flower Bomb perfume saving for the W Day. Yep, read a few bridal mags (I said I never would) and that's what it is - the W-Day. Speak to the celebrant and when the W is everyday the Bride and Groom are the B&G...learning the lingo.
Mr made a pew/bench for our dining table in time for our Sunday Roast (which I looove) and I made some new art...hard-edged hearts. That's one against the window in pic 2.

Custom Made
I'm always interested to see how custom requests will turn out and I am always so pleasantly surprised by the colour combos I would never have otherwise tried.

Bunting Cards
Hello lovelies, I have made a range of bunting cards and they are in the shop now. Wouldn't they make cute kids party invites with cake bunting to match? Check out the shop or convo me for custom cards. Even just one framed would be adorable (and cheap) art.

Love in a Jar
I am not a lover of the shape of a heart. I like stars and crowns. I love wreaths. I like spots and squares and chevrons. I don't like hearts. Never have. From the outset for anything to do with my upcoming nuptials (what a terrible word) the rule has been no hearts. But then I bought these little gems and couldn't resist sandwiching them together with neon thread.
I call them 'love in a jar'. Whenever Mr goes out to get something he asks me "do you want me to bring anything back for you?" Every time I ask "can you bring me back some love in a jar?"
Of course he never has so I made it myself.
