Personality Style Challenge

I was invited to take part in a personality style challenge by Brilliant Earth.  Makers of ethically sourced diamonds and engagement rings.

When it comes to jewellery I am definitely a minimalist (definition below). My weddings ring and watch are usually all I wear, if anything.
"If she rocks a minimalist, no-nonsense, elegant style - go with modern architectural settings".
Imagined if I'd armed Mr with these words and sent him to the jeweller...I wouldn't need to accompany him at all.

I'm Back

Bonjour! I've read all your gorgeous comments and I'm back with new found discoveries from Paris, London and Berlin. I have so much to share, so let's start from the very beginning.
Day one in Paris saw us headed straight to Merci - I can not emphasis enough how much of an absolute must do this store is, I think it's one of the most incredible spaces I ever experienced. Serial Chineur was an exhibition showing the work of object entomologist Jean Sonnet Croise photographed by Pierrick Verny. There were 49 images created for this exhibition, huge ones displayed hanging from the rafters, an entire portfolio avec white glove to leaf through them all and 12.50 euro prints, of which I bought 'Cordes' (the one with red string, which kind of look like rolls of meat - obviously not enough to put me off buying it) and the bottles & spoons one for my sis.

Order in The House

I am totally obsessed with this blog. Why? For her pretty collections shot from above (my current obsession), her use of graph paper and paper doilies (my other current love), her love for her boy (see the little book below she made for him containing pockets of love notes in little envelopes). I love the packaging pics (mmm, candy striped twine) of her pretty creations and I envy the order in which she keeps her blog, sticking to a schedule of Inspiration Monday, Link love Wednesday, and Lovely goods Friday. Wonder what she gets up to on Tuesday? Perhaps she assembles her comprehensive collections. I'd like to think I'll order my blog in the not too distant future, just as soon as I get off my a&se...um, on it rather and get my mind in order...hmm, don't hold your breath. shop here.
