Baby Steps in the Nursery

I think this bub is waiting til she's satisfied with a completed nursery before being being ready to come into the world. I hope we're getting close...p.s. last silver star and felt garland in my etsy shop.

My clever sis has reconfigured the nursery to accommodate her new little angel.  She requested a black, white, gold and silver garland to match. You can see more of her gorgeous pics on her Instagram and blog. Love.

Wisdom & Motherhood

Hope all the mums out there had a beautiful Mothers Day. We had such stunning weather in Sydney.

My computer has been soooo slow lately I have had to give up on trying to post for a while so am running a bit behind. For some reason after a rest, its back to full speed again!

I made a puffy heart cake topper and bought this gorgeous soap from Seventh Tree. Star tag is the start of the new star garlands I have planned (...they need more practice).

A Magical 9th Tale

  

I received a magical email from a lovely etsy customer who wanted my help to create a handmade box of Australian goodies to send her niece for 9th birthday.  This is an excerpt of her story.


"...she is petite, blonde, and very outgoing. She is intrigued by whimsical and mystical things (like witches and fairies). She searches the wooded yard they have to see if she can find any. She is a girly girl. Many of their classmates come from Europe and Australia. Her very best friend Rosie moved back to Australia a few months ago. Charlotte misses her and is very interested in everything Australian. Would you be willing to create a box of handmade creations for her?"

I was delighted to receive some delicious new supplies and will add these 5 bright and mulberry strands to my shop after Easter.

Cockatoo

Inspired by a Bonnie & Neil Cockatoo lamp I have made a late xmas gift for above the beautiful lounge of some good friends.  I hope they like it!

Let There Be Light

I feel so much better after tidying up my craft room and making this happy little corner. These xmas cards are in my etsy shop now too!

Flowers Old & New

I was so sad to pull apart my beautiful bouquet. I was sure to keep the beautiful linen and velvet ribbons. I bought myself a new bunch of roses to cheer me up and created a wedding inspired colour way of dots.

I love it when people send me pics of where they put C&H purchases once it finds its way into their homes.  Remember these dots - they found a home in a little girl's room. Squeak & Squirel, maker of beautiful childrens clothing hung a garland in her kitchen and had moved her little heart around her house. I agree, I love it on that mantle too - what a beautiful image. Thank you so much for sending these through.

Sale In Store

What a beautiful day it is here in Sydney! I have a few items in  my store on Sale for the next week or so, so pop in and browse around.

Even Stevens

Mr bought these roses home for me last Friday. I love seeing men carrying home bunches of flowers and even better when they walk through your door and deliver them with a kiss. In exchange for les fleurs, I  defrosted the left over cookie dough and cut out some more sugar cookies. Even Stevens!
