I know it's pale but this snow cozy in Norway is just so sublime. By amazing architects I have deleted the history about - sorry. I think they were in Norway.
Hmm, started the rental hunt this morning...along with all the other hungry home hounds competing for average spaces at enormous prices. This little 2br apartment in Bronte sold for almost a million dollars so renting it is for now.
If all has gone to plan, we arrived in Firenze yesterday. Today we are doing a cooking class together starting at the merkets and finishing with a feast.
Marcella Kaspar is the artist who creates the most incredible flower oil paintings I have ever and will ever see. Marcella and her husband built this house in Sydney's Bronte some years ago and have since moved - how she ever brought herself to sell it, I'll never know. It's filled with her amazing rose and beach paintings. The way every room opens into the central courtyard is perfection. Maggie Tabberer is the proud new owner of this dreamy pad.

When Pamela Makin renovated the family weatherboard bungalow in Newport Beach knocking three bedrooms into one open living space spilling into the Pacific Ocean, she had no idea the $200,000 face lift would become a global sensation, especially after the builders said it couldn't and shouldn’t be done. Pamela is an artist and owner of Les Interieurs. It was her artist husband who found the huge tree trunk placed in the middle of their living room. More info here.
