The Hunt Continues

Well, we missed out on the Bronte apartment we put in an application for - accidentally on purpose - amazing view, but no built ins and a kitchen unfit for baking.

Sourdough Sunday

...and a cheeky mixed berry muffin from Harvest, a gorgeous organic store & cafe, where we bought bacon and tomatoes and took them home in brown paper bags.

The Art of the Bath

Bathing...I forgot how beautiful it can be, especially under a French chandelier where the soap comes wrapped in a slip of a page from a vintage book.

At Home w/ Rosie Brown

Rosie Brown is a textile designer and interior stylist who moved from London to Edinburgh where she set up Papa Stour, the beautiful online store championing Scottish designers. I am so in love with that concrete chair, Lisa Stickley cushion and chinese lantern, I could just faint!

This gorgeous Shanghai apartment belongs to stylist Frank Visser. The soft palette of pink, beige and faded green is inspired by the colours peaches, lychees and watermelon.

Stylist's Home

cool blues & soft greys / fresh & dried flowers.

The house of stylist & writer Hilary Robertson is one of my favourites. It's a south London flat but it looks Parisian to me (hence the loving of it).

It's funny how your tastes change over time. I bought Hilary's book many years ago for the sari strewn beds and brightly draped day beds. Now an aged mirror being the only colour in an otherwise white room is my idea of desk heaven. Hilary did her first piece for Vogue Living this month and they say she has a blog on the way...stay tuned.
