And just when I thought I'd found the ultimate exterior, Nancy passed on some links to the Sakura house in Meguro, Tokyo by Mount Fuji Architects Studio which is actually 'lace-like steel 3 mm thick that filters light like sunshine through foliage, with holes punched out in a floral pattern depicting cherry blossoms'.
