I was so excited about Mother's Day. It felt like Christmas used to feel when like when I was little. I bought myself a mug 'from' Piper. I can't wait for her little handmade Mother's Day stall purchases in year to come. On Sunday, Mr bought me a large coffee and a gorgeous bunch of blooms. I made a mini layer cake with berries from the bunch.

How gorgeous that you got yourself a present!! That's hilarious. (We get our cat to "give" extra birthday presents when there is something special happening - so I like your thinking!)
