Seaside Scottish Cottage

Can't get enough of Rosie Brown's style? Neither can I. This little holiday cottage in the North West Highlands of Scotland is available for rent. It's located near Applecross (I have no idea where that is but I love the name). These images instill in me this romantic imagining: I am near a log fire, rugged up with a hot cup of tea. Outside, the wind is blowing a gale, the sea is angry and grey and a constant drizzle is falling from the sky. I am sitting at a desk looking dreamily out the window trying to cultivate the next lines of the novel I'm writing. A perfect place for sweet solitude.

Are those sheep in the foreground, or only bales of hay? Eitherway, pretty perfect spot!

It's beautiful. Have you been watching Monty Halls recent programme? He was living near Applecross in a deserted cottage like this and it looked heavenly. He had dolphins swimming past and the most beautiful views. It made me really want to visit.

Hi Nicola,
So great to see you were awarded Blogs of Note from Blogger (hence the crazy amount of traffic! My site was the blog 2 weeks ago, then Kim from Udessi - I think we're all connected somehow; maybe my links list? I have no idea how they found me). In case you haven't checked it out yet - http://blogsofnote.blogspot.com/. Have a lovely day!

Applecross is beautiful, its in the North West Highlands of Scotland in Wester Ross. If you think the name Applecross is sweet enough, its Gaelic name means "The Sanctuary"!

Congrats for the BlogOfNote.x
