My Mini Kitchen Makeover

My work is (finally) done. Two coats of primer and another two of tile paint (white of course, no surprises there). Below are some before and after pics. From blue to white - and what a difference it has made, I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.

I painted in the dark of night after long days at work, the fumes were eye burningly strong, so I painted in this fetching 'geisha face' surgical mask retrieved from my shelf of goodies - my neighbours must think (um, know) I'm the nuttiest kid in the block...then again, most nights the scent of the devil's lettuce wafts through my door, so hopefully they think they're just seeing things again!

ooh tile paint? where did you get that? That'd be awesome to use in our shower! How difficult was it?

Love the "cold" picture and the geisha face. Glad you got all the hard work out of the way and the payoff was awesome.

Hi guys, just head to your local hardware store, they should have Tile Paint suitable for ceramic surfaces. The directions on the back will recommend a suitable primer + then you're ready to get painting. p.s. the pink plate is by Mud Australia and yep, those roses sure are in a grater. Thanks for visiting, I love receiving your comments. x
