I've decided I need a holiday to the land of the macaron and I'm booking it this week!

Oh I so have never had a french macaron, but I want to! I found a place here in Houston that makes them - she's a french woman. I am going there next weekend. It ain't Paris, but it's still exciting!

I love French macarons. if you have a chance when you're in Paris, try the ones at Pain de Sucre on 14, rue rambuteau - they are my all time favorite. I'm drooling right now thinking about them. Have a wonderful trip!
