From the Inside Looking Out

We truly adored our hotel in Paris. How how we loved looking out the window onto 'our' sweet street and taking pleasure in watching Parisian passersby. As night started to fall, we'd look into the wide windows of the apartments opposite to find...the beautifully furnished apartment with no-one home to enjoy it, the students on laptops in front of the TV, the shirtless man laying on his lounge, the gentleman setting the table for dinner and the laughter that followed when his guests arrived.
We rested in the open windowed afternoons to the gentle buzz of Marais floating through the fenetre and into our dreams.

A red door sure is a bright way to say welcome.

The hotel was The Hotel Bourg Tibourg in the street of the same name - its the little sister hotel to the fabulous Hotel Costes - I can't recommend it highly enough, the staff were so sweet and helpful and the breakfast was amazing!
