Chasing Rainbows

I absolutely love travelling. The people, the costumes, the cultures, the food. I love being out of my comfort zone and not understanding the languages spoken around me nor the signs written above me. I strive to open my mind and my senses to everything around me and allow myself to be caught in the rip of the the local tides until I feel an understanding for the rhythm of life around me.

I wanted for a long time to start a new blog called something along the lines of "places & faces". I wanted to see if I could select just one photo from each place of my travels to accompany the words I selected to share with my journal at the time.

Instead, I created a portal just for me. A dedicated place to record my tales in an ordered manner by pulling together all my previous and disparate attempts and publishing them in one place.

This is your invitation to join me for the ride. If you decide you'd rather stay 'at home', thats fine too, as this is something I have wanted to do for a very long time and if no-one reads it, I don't mind a bit!
