I stopped buying fashion mags when I fell in love with interiors mags and got sick of the "how to please your man" and "get a bikini body in 2 weeks" articles, but Elle and Vogue were always a class above. I just could not resist these covers. The contents are delicious too.

That first Vogue cover is so pretty. Something about the colors. I saw it in my Google reader and had to comment!

I'm with you, I very rarely buy fashion mags simply because all my money goes straight towards all my design and architecture mags, but these three covers are delicious! The second one is one of my favourite Vogue covers in years, and one of very few fashion mags I actually own. And love love love Abbie Cornish - total girl crush! Mr. U thinks I look like her...sigh, I wish!

Aaahh glad to hear your (and your readers')viewpoint on fashion mags ... I feel the same, yuck, yuck yuck - when everything is about you "not being good enough" hey!? But yes agree with you on Vogue and similar type mags - there's almost a seductive appeal to them.... wonderful!!
