Silly Season

I trust you all had a joyous Christmas. Wasn't it lovely to have a few days off to relax and eat and sleep. The weather has been very unAustralian for this time of year...stormy and overcast, with but a few streams of sunshine which had us running to the beach and into the frosty surf. Good weather for afternoon naps, movies, warm cups of tea and long chats.

Fantastic! Where do you find all these lovely things? Especially the lighted branch and cute ho, ho, hos?

First of all Happy New Year to you!
Your blog is wonderful. I enjoy visiting it and find a lot of inspiration and beauty here. Is it not a little strange to think about that you have warm weather and summer wher you live, while here in Norway where I live it is freezing cold and winter... I think that is one of the great thing about this blogworld - that one gets a glimpse into other (likeminded) peoples lives, even if it is on the other side of the world.
I wish you all the best, and look forward to follow your blog in 2010.

These photos make up such a sweet collection. I've always liked the combination of greys and pinks together.

Very happy images! Here in Vancouver, it's winter and it's dark and rainy. I feel for you, but I'm sure summer will kick in soon!
Happy New Year!
