Au Revouir, Petit Maison

The news is that we're finally moving to a (slightly bigger place). And even scarier is that we are moving out of my beloved Surry Hills, away from the bookshop just below me and the wine bars, florists, farmers markets, restaurants and every night good eating places within a 50m radius. Why? We're moving to the beach. I will soon see waves from my new (tiny) kitchen. I'm really excited about the change and setting up a new house and setting it up with Mr.

He moved in to my girly house and I barely needed to adjust my life, so I suppose it's the first time (at this ripe old age), that I am moving out/in with someone. I can't wait to share pics of our new space. I'm most excited about having a separate study with a beautiful desk and a chair (maybe acquire a typewriter or a sewing machine) and little bed for what we'll call - Ozzie's room.

While the place was nice and tidy for the open for inspection, I took a few snaps on Saturday's dark and stormy day. I'll tell you about the open tomorrow. It was intense.

I'm sure it's a bit scary and exciting at the same time.

What an exciting time! A whole new opportunity to make your mark on a space. It will be a wonderful adventure, I'm sure!
