To this. Our view has gone from a watery one to a wooden one. They are demolishing the balconies so we are trapped in here for the summer. At least we are lucky enough to have the beach out there, just seems cruel that we can no longer see it and breathe it. If it becomes too suffocating, we'll pack up and go...in the mean time I have quite enjoyed the reconfiguring our little place to accommodate the changes. That is, well after we got home to our reduced space and felt like crying.

I can imagine how annoying it is not seeing the beach, but like you said remember to feel lucky for having it that close!:) Here in Finland the looong winter is on its way and I could change places with you anytime..:)
