An Invitation

These are drafts and little paintings I did when we started to think about our wedding invite. I knew I wanted a banner and a wreath. The inspiration was a vintage Shakespeare book cover of Hamlet I saw on ebay (the photocopy image in the pics above which I have scrawled on). I wanted something unconventional and descriptive.  More like a letter from the B+G-to-be inviting our people to share a long lunch in the garden. What we ended up with looked quite different, but I was set on the peachy colours and the wording and essential elements remained. And I knew I wanted Sugarcoated to make it for me.
