Home Grown

I am the worst gardener in the world. Anything I haven't killed yet looks to be slowly dying and because I love having flowering plants around I just keep buying them - cost effective...not.
Two Christmases ago mum bought me plants to start a garden. The Gardenia (bless her scented heart) didn't live to see last Christmas, the yellow rose didn't even make it through a season (may it rest in peace), miraculously the Jasmine has returned from the dead (hallelujah) after almost 2 years, due to no efforts of my own (black thumbs) and my two year old Magnolia, well, she finally bloomed...

Family, friends and I refer to mine as The Thumbs of Death. I've killed cactus. Not on purpose. I feel your pain.
